New Look, New Mission

Hey all!

Long time no post! As the summer has come and almost gone, this blog has fallen to the wayside. Rest assured with the new school year and a completely new tech landscape (Apple vs. Android, Evos, 4G?) I will be updating at least once every week to keep you in the loop.

With that said, with the new look of the site you might also notice the new mission statement. Instead of keeping a studious, opinionated ere to the content, I have decided to provide a more objective perspective (with a few opinions thrown in occasionally) on the tech landscape that will hopefully open your mind as much as it will mine.

I hope that you like the new look, and I'm looking very much forward to providing new content for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks all! Look for updates soon!

Best,

Justin

  1. Justin,

I'm the community and social media manager at NI. One of the superstar interns here, Katie, sent me you blog. I'm looking for a new netbook and look forward to reading your thoughts.

  2. Hi,

Katie said she was making a referral. Haha. I haven't looked into the netbook market in a while as it has somewhat fallen to the wayside in lieu of tablet PCs like the iPad and Dell Streak.

Nonetheless, my recommendation for a netbook will always be the company who started it all, Asus, and their line of Eee PCs. They have fantastic battery life, market leading performance and innovations, and they remain very competitively priced.

With that said, they have a variety of screen sizes in addition to performance related options like discrete graphics cards and dual-core CPUs that are all relative to your needs, so if you'd like a more comprehensive recommendation have Katie shoot you my email and I'll be more than happy to help you find one that fits you.

    Hope this helps!

    Justin
